These Terms govern your use of EduAlly. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use EduAlly through a school or course, institutional rules and instructor directions also apply.

If you do not agree, do not use EduAlly. If a study consent form conflicts with these general Terms on research participation, the study-specific materials control for that study.

Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials confidential, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from a failure of EduAlly's systems.

You may use EduAlly only if your institution, course, or applicable law permits you to do so. Users who need authorization from a parent, guardian, or institution must obtain it before using the service.

EduAlly provides educational support, not guaranteed answers. AI output may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate for a particular assignment. Review it critically and follow your instructor's requirements.

Do not present AI-generated work as your own when that would violate course or academic-integrity rules. Instructors remain responsible for teaching and academic decisions; EduAlly does not guarantee grades, learning outcomes, or the accuracy of automated feedback.

Do not use EduAlly to harm others, harass or impersonate people, violate privacy, cheat, infringe intellectual-property rights, upload malware, bypass access controls, probe the service without authorization, disrupt availability, or use another person's account.

Only upload material you have the right to use. Do not enter highly sensitive information unless your course specifically requires it and EduAlly has been approved for that purpose.

You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You give EduAlly and participating institutions permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to provide, secure, administer, and improve the service and, where applicable, conduct the research described to you.

Course materials may belong to instructors, institutions, publishers, or other rights holders. Access to those materials does not give you permission to redistribute them.

EduAlly is part of an ongoing educational research effort. Research participation, withdrawal, and use of study data may be governed by separate information supplied by a research team or institution. Read those materials carefully. Questions about a study should be directed to the study contact, not treated solely as a general support request.

EduAlly is evolving research software. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued, and service may sometimes be unavailable. We may limit or end access when necessary for security, legal compliance, course administration, research integrity, or a violation of these Terms.

To the extent permitted by law, EduAlly is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free AI output. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these Terms as EduAlly develops. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, where permitted by law. Material changes may receive additional notice.
